Merciful Lord, on this Lenten Friday, we remember Christ’s suffering for our salvation.
Teach us to fast not only from food but from sin, pride, and selfishness. May our sacrifices draw us closer to Your Sacred Heart.
Bless Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in New Milton and all other churches. May they be places of refuge, prayer, and renewal for all who seek You. Strengthen their ministries so that they may bring healing and hope to the brokenhearted.
Grant us the grace to walk the path of holiness with humility. May we embrace the discipline of this season, knowing that through sacrifice, we are conformed more fully to Christ.
Help us to trust in Your providence and to offer our sufferings in union with His.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
